Our Warehouse in Speyside
In a milestone move, we are opening our own bonded warehouse,
elevating your cask ownership experience through effective and efficient cask management, easier access, and personalised visits.
Located in Forres—the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region and just 30 minutes from Inverness airport—
our warehouse has a capacity for 25,000 casks, equipped with a bottling plant and tasting room.
The warehouse will become fully operational in the coming months, marking an exciting new chapter for Cask Trade.

From start to finish, you’ll have complete visibility of your cask’s journey. We guide you through tasting samples, selecting your cask, managing it in our warehouse, arranging visits, and bottling—keeping your cask safe throughout the process.

Our new warehouse streamlines cask management with easier movement tracking, sample collection, regauging, and on-demand inspections. We can also provide Delivery Orders (DOs) upon request—all while maintaining efficient oversight under one roof.

Just 30 minutes from Inverness airport, our warehouse is surrounded by more than 50 world-renowned single malt distilleries and a range of hotels, making Forres the perfect place for customers to visit their cask and explore “Malt Whisky Country.”
The bonded warehouse, with a bespoke tasting room, will allow customers to enjoy whisky masterclasses hosted by industry experts and taste whisky straight from their cask.

Cask Management
Can I request samples of my whisky cask?
Yes, you can. Please contact our team to request a cask sample drawing. The cost per cask sample is approximately £50-£100, plus postage.
What is the annual storage charge?
Cask storage fees are charged annually to the customer, specifically in January.
The estimated cost for a hogshead or barrel is approximately £40-£50 per year.
A sherry butt is estimated to cost £50-£60 per year, depending on the warehouse.
These costs may vary depending on the warehouse and the size of the cask.
How can I insure my cask?
If your whisky cask is held under our WOWGR, we can provide an annual insurance quote. Our comprehensive stock insurance is underwritten by Aviva. The annual premium starts at £50+VAT and varies based on the total value of your casks. Please contact us for a quotation.
How can I do a cask health check?
If you have purchased a cask from us, you can request a cask regauge by contacting your account manager. The regauge costs range from approximately £50 to £100, depending on the cask and warehouse location.
